Have Skating Legs Early - Both teams played on the road last night, so today is a quick turn around. The team that starts on time will have an edge.

Try to Contain Stamkos - Limit his time and space, but that's easier said than done. He is a game-changer and a scoring machine so the Wings will have to do their best to shut him down.

Solid Goalkeeping - Jimmy Howard made big saves last night. Jonas Gustavsson will have to do the same today.

After a big road win last night in Toronto, Detroit starts a three-game homestand tonight before finishing with four of five on the road. The Red Wings have more road wins (19) than home wins (15).

"This is the playoffs for us, we know what situation we're in," defenseman Jakub Kindl told Mlive.com. "We've just got to do the little things. We've got to compete; we can't turn the puck over, just have to play a simple game."

Goalie Jonas Gustavsson will start for the first time since March 7, the third time since Feb. 3. Prior to Saturday, Jimmy Howard had lost three in a row after winning four of five.

"I thought our goaltender was good; he made some huge saves," Mike Babcock said. "It's important he gets a game off tomorrow and [Jonas] comes in just to give him a breather."

Gustav Nyquist isn't the only one who's been racking up points lately. Tomas Tatar had two goals in the third period against Montréal on Thursday, which was his third straight multi-point game. He's also been a +6 over the Wings' last three contests.

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!
