Jimmy Howard is starting tonight and he's looking to bounce back
from Wednesday's 3-2 loss in Calgary.

“It's not the first time I've made a mistake out there, it most definitely won't be the last. This game is full of making mistakes, it's how you bounce back.”
-Jimmy Howard told Ansar Khan

Get Off to a Fast Start
- The Red Wings finished well against Calgary applying all kinds of pressure and had a chance to tie it with seconds left. They'll need to dictate the play early against the Canucks.

Generate Offense - Spend time in the offensive zone. Cycle well, get second and third opportunities, and have that much needed net front presence.

Play With Desperation - Time is running out; there's only 5 games left. Detroit needs to win games, plain and simple. A lot is on the line and they have to come out and play like there is no tomorrow. Compete hard and play to win.
