Kronwall

“We have to look after our own business. That's the main focus for us, regardless of what they do. As long as we play our game and play hard for 60 minutes we'll be OK.”
- Niklas Kronwall told Ansar Khan

Jimmy Howard gets the nod in net tonight.

Tootoo

Jordin Tootoo will join Colaiacovo in the press box as a healthy scratch.

Patrick Eaves is back in the lineup.

Eaves

Helm

Darren Helm didn't go with the Wings on the trip; the team didn't want to aggravate his back. He is skating in Detroit.

A couple members of the Wings brass weighed in on Johan Franzen heating up down the stretch.

Franzen

Babcock

“I think Mule's been good. We played him at center, we played him at wing, changed lines. I thought him and (Valtteri Filppula) in Chicago, with (Daniel Cleary), were our best line.”
- Mike Babcock told Khan

“(Mule) has been important for us, scoring some key goals down the stretch and everybody knows how he plays in the playoffs.”
- Valtteri Filppula told Khan

Show Up On Time
- The Wings have the jump on Calgary and be on the attack early. Take the crowd out of the game. It's better to have the lead than to burn energy coming back from an early deficit.

Score Three Goals - The Red Wings record this season is 16-0-2 when they score 3 or more goals. Calgary's defense has had their struggles this year, so Detroit has to find ways to put the biscuit in the basket.

Need Solid Goaltending - Jimmy Howard will probably finish the season between the pipes. He's played well all year, he needs to be in top form tonight and make key saves when tested.
