Despite taking a nasty cut to the face on Tuesday, Red Wings forward Drew Miller will play in his 159th straight game tonight as Boston visits The Joe. 60 stitches later, Millsie is ready to get back out on the ice and help his teammates create some separation between the Red Wings and Bruins in the Atlantic Division. Miller has 1 goal and 1 assist in his past four games.

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!

Show up on time - The Red Wings need to come out hard and fast. Don't play catch up hockey.

Win - This is the most important game of the year for both of these clubs. It's important to do whatever it takes to get the victory.

Get the two points - Two points are critical here tonight as it will create separation with both Boston and Ottawa. Find every way possible to grind out a W.

The Red Wings lost forward Drew Miller when he sustained two deep lacerations around his right eye in the first period of a 2-1 shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. Miller did practice on Wednesday, wearing a plastic guard below his visor and is questionable. Detroit was also without forwards Pavel Datsyuk, Riley Sheahan, and Erik Cole; a decision on all three will be made after the morning skate Thursday.

Sheahan has missed three straight games and Datsyuk had played the past two after missing the previous five with a lower-body injury. The Red Wings are in third place in the Atlantic Division, two points ahead of the Bruins. Petr Mrazek is expected to start for Detroit.
