Get the Legs Going Early - The team arrived back in Detroit around 1 AM; Florida was in town resting last night. Detroit needs to find the energy early and get off to a great start.

Mule Kick - Franzen has 9 points in his last 6 games. He needs to continue to lead offensively, especially with Datsyuk and Zetterberg out with injuries.

Tighten up the Penalty Kill - The Red Wings went 4 games without allowing a PP goal. However, they allowed 4 PPGs in their last 7 times short. They need to buckle down, clear the puck, and be better shorthanded.

Last night was a big comeback win for the Wings, who won their fifth in six games despite being without several of their best players.

Johan Franzen's goal 12:40 into the third period Friday night broke a 1-1 tie and led to a 3-1 road victory against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center.

"We've got to keep it going," Franzen said. "It's tough without our big guys, but it's important knowing we can win without them."

Jonas Gustavsson hardly got any work in net, making 10 saves, but picked up the win to push his record to 8-0-1.

Tonight, Detroit will look to keep rolling against a struggling Panthers team.
