Johan Franzen has been red hot lately, riding a five-game point streak, which includes three goals and five assists. Over that stretch, the Mule has maintained a +5 rating.

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!

Jonas Gustavsson will start again for the Wings tonight.

"We got to win games and (Gustavsson) is doing that right now for us, so the bottom line is he’s starting...He’s found a way to get hit by pucks and we’ve found a way to win."

Play through Injuries - With so many guys out tonight, playing time is available for others. It's time for those guys to take a piece of that time and make the best of it.

Get Solid Goalkeeping - Jonas Gustavsson is 7-0-1 this season. The depleted Wings need a strong performance in goal for this game.

Move the Puck - New Jersey has big forwards, so there will be a need to move the puck quickly to slow down the Devils' forecheck.
