Henrik Zetterberg is off to a red hot start this year. Z has seven points in his last four games, including a goal and an assist in Wednesday's rout of Boston. He's currently second in the NHL in scoring with 30 points.

He's today's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!

Pavel Datsyuk

Pavel Datsyuk is out again with a possible concussion. He said yesterday that he's starting to feel better, but still is "not where I am supposed to be."

Datsyuk declined to comment on the hit to the head or the NHL’s decision not to punish Jared Cowen.

Start on Time - Be ready to play and compete. The Wings have to play the same way today as they did against Boston; don't change a thing.

Get the Lead - The Wings haven't won in Long Island in a long time, partly because they fall behind early. Detroit needs to get the lead and hold it.

Play as a Team - The Wings did this in their game against Boston; they moved the puck and played together. Cover for each other tonight, and play as a five-man unit.
