The Red Wings defeated the Blackhawks in one of the best games of the year. Glendening got the first goal, then the Mule and Tats scored one minute apart early in the second to put the Wings ahead for good. Howard was solid in net stopping 25 shots in route to a 4-1 victory.

The Mule is one of the NHL's streakiest players and right now, he's scorching hot! Since coming back from injury, Franzen's number has been all over the stat sheet with 5 points in 5 games (2 goals, 3 assists). Both goals came on the man advantage, which has also been on a roll for the Red Wings, thanks to 93.

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!

"Jurco is a big, strong, young kid who can really skate and who's strong with the puck. We expect him to go out there with confidence and play hard."

Datsyuk will center the first line with Abdelkader and Jurco.

Dictate the play - The Red Wings are well rested after four days off. They should have no trouble getting off to a fast start.

Limit time and space - Don't allow Chicago to use their speed and skill, especially in the neutral zone.

Play solid on special teams - The power play is coming along now and the penalty kill has been good all season. That'll need to continue tonight against a good Chicago team.
