Balanced attack - Need all 4 lines going tonight especially with Pavel Datsyuk out of the line up. Everyone needs to elevate their game.

Mrazek needs a repeat performance - Mrazek battled hard and took a lot of abuse from the Penguins last game. He showed a lot of moxy stopping over 40 shots and allowing just 1 goal. He will need to be strong between the pipes again.

Win the special teams battle - Best way to kill a penalty is to not take one. Stay out of the penalty box. Also continue to flourish on the PP. Detroit has scored a power play goal in 9 straight games.

After a four day break, the Red Wings return to action tonight to face-off against the Florida Panthers. Detroit will be without forward Pavel Datsyuk, who did not practice Wednesday, and will miss at least the next two games because of a lower-body injury. The Red Wings do look to get Darren Helm back in the lineup, after missing the last seven games with an oblique injury. Babcock said he has yet to be cleared but is hopeful Helm will be available. “Obviously he’s a real good player for us. It allows us to spread things out more. It gets Luke Glendening back in his right spot, which is real important for our team. We think we’re going to have a good team here, so ideally, knock on wood, we can stay healthy and start playing the best we can play.” Petr Mrazek will get his second consecutive start in net tonight for Detroit.
