Detroit Red Wings vs. Anaheim Ducks
"We know we can beat them, we're a great team." |
"This is Detroit, this is not just another team. You saw Friday, anybody who thought the Detroit Red Wings were dead got a big mistake coming to them." |
"We can't let guys like Datsyuk run around with the puck all night long. It was like on a string...But it's not a surprise that he's going to do that. He's one of the best players in the world." - Bruce Boudreau told Khan |
Jimmy Howard will be between the pipes tonight. |
Carlo Colaiacovo has been cleared to play, but will be a healthy scratch tonight. |
Coach Babcock said he's sticking with |

Get More Solid Goaltending - Jimmy Howard will need to be sharp again. The Ducks will come after him and the Red Wings hard, especially after the last game.
Play Well in Front of Howard - The defense needs to be in the right position. Block shots, protect the puck, and get the puck to the forwards to send them on the rush.
Continue Balanced Scoring - Everyone contributed in the last game. Detroit will need more of the same in tonight's game, too.
