Henrik Zetterberg is rolling! The captain has recorded points in 4 straight games, (3 goals, 3 assists) helping the Red Wings bust out of their scoring slump. Z leads the club this year with 32 points (8 goals, 24 assists). Look for Zetterberg to keep it going tonight as we face off against the Boston Bruins in an Atlantic Division showdown.

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!

Win the face off battle - Bruins best face off man Patrice Bergeron is out tonight due to injury.  This really helps Detroit.  Win face offs and possess the puck.

Keep playing solid team defense - Play well in front of Jimmy Howard. Allow him to see the puck, keep the Bruins to the outside.

Skate - Bruins will try to slow the Wings down by being physical. Use team speed to off set the Bruins physical play.

The Red Wings are coming off another come-from-behind win as they were able to defeat the Ottawa Senators Saturday night in overtime. Gustav Nyquist scored the game winner Saturday and also had three assists in Detroit's 6-3 victory last week against Buffalo. The Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings have split their prior two meetings, with Detroit winning 2-1 on the first game of the year and Boston winning 3-2 in a shootout Oct. 22. Both games were played in Detroit. Gustav Nyquist had two goals in the two games.

Jimmy Howard returned to the lineup in a 3-2 overtime win against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday after an injury absence, making 31 saves. Howie is expected to make his second consecutive start tonight in an Atlantic Division showdown at the Garden.
