The fourth line of Luke Glendening, Drew Miller, and Joakim Andersson have been one of Detroit's most productive lines in the past few games. They go out there play hard, kill penalties, grind, and even put points on the board. Last game, each member recorded an assist with Glendening leading the way with a 2 point night. (1 goal, 1 assist)

Play fast - This style of play worked against Chicago. Move the puck and skate.

Take advantage of tired legs - Montreal played Philly last night and got into Detroit late. The Red Wings are rested.

Win the goaltending battle - Carey Price and Jimmy Howard have both been solid to start the season. Detroit will need another good effort from Jimmy tonight.

Detroit is 2-0-1 entering the finale of a four-game homestand and is coming off one of its best efforts of the season, a 4-1 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.  The Red Wings have been getting a lot of production from their fourth line of Luke Glendening, Drew Miller and Joakim Andersson.

"Some nights they've been our best line, whether it's shutting down the other teams' top lines or getting on the forecheck and just grinding teams," goaltender Jimmy Howard said

The Montreal Canadiens have won their past three games against the Detroit Red Wings, including a 2-1 overtime victory at Bell Centre on Oct. 21. David Desharnais scored the game-winner 56 seconds into the extra period. The Canadiens are coming to the Joe riding a five game win streak, Jimmy Howard and the Red Wings look to put an end to that tonight.

The Red Wings defeated the Blackhawks in one of the best games of the year. Glendening got the first goal, then the Mule and Tats scored one minute apart early in the second to put the Wings ahead for good. Howard was solid in net stopping 25 shots in route to a 4-1 victory.
