Tomas Jurco has quietly been on a good run for the Red Wings. He's playing hard and making plays on the third and fourth lines and getting his number on the stat sheet. Jurco has recorded 4 points in a five game span and is currently riding a 3 game point streak. (1 Goal, 3 Assists)

He's Detroit's 'Hot Wing" by Buffalo Wild Wings!

Get to the net - Vancouver has posted back-to-back shutouts and has allowed just one goal in their last three games. The Wings will need a solid net-front presence to get the job done.

Score - Detroit has 10 goals in their last two games. Keep doing the same things. Shoot the puck and bear down on scoring chances.

Stay out of the box - Skate and dictate the pace. Force the Canucks to keep up. Force them to take penalties.

Detroit has been on fire lately, finding the back of the net 35 times in their past 10 games. The power play continues to roll, as well. After scoring five goals in their first 46 man-advantages (10.9 percent), the Red Wings have scored 15 power-play goals in their past 47 chances (31.9 percent). This surge of offense comes at a good time, as a red hot Vancouver Canucks team pays a visit to the Motor City in today's 2:00 PM matinee showdown.

Detroit, which might reunite Zetterberg with forward Pavel Datsyuk on the top line, might also get another piece back on the blue line, as Brendan Smith seems to destined to return from a hand infection. With Smitty back in the lineup, Detroit will go for their fourth straight victory today at The Joe.
