Start fast - Leaf fans haven't been happy with their team's performance lately. A few early goals could get the crowd out of  it.

Balanced attack -The Wings have gotten contributions from a lot of different angles as of late, and they'll need it once more tonight against a potent Toronto offense. Detroit needs contributions from all four lines.

Pressure their D - Win the battles in the corners. Force them to turn over the puck. That will create scoring chances.

After a late third period comeback in Winnipeg, the Red Wings look to sweep their road trip as they take on the Maple Leafs. The Wings hope to get another big game out of their captain, Henrik Zetterberg, who led the way with four assists in a 4-1 win in Toronto and then notched the game winner with 10 seconds left in overtime at the Joe in a 1-0 victory.

Jimmy Howard will be back between the pipes tonight in Toronto after backup Petr Mrazek held it down Thursday night. Detroit might also be without center Pavel Datsyuk for the third consecutive game, as he is trying to get over a nagging groin injury. Nonetheless, the Red Wings have won three of their past four games and have earned at least a point in six of their previous seven.
