The Red Wings aim to put an end to their troubles in the City of Brotherly Love, where they haven't won a game since 1997, the year in which Detroit topped the Flyers in the Stanley Cup Final. Coach Mike Babcock said on Friday that the Wings haven't won since "Christ was a kid," so they'll look to change that tonight.

Backup goalie Jonas Gustavsson will make his second start of the season Saturday. Monster stopped all 30 shots in a 1-0 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 18. "It's going to be a new challenge," Gustavsson said Friday. "I put that [first win] behind me and I'm going to go out there and do my best. … It's always good to get the games in; that's when you learn, gain experience. You try to take advantage of the practices, too." Tonight, Monster will look to keep the ball rolling on his hot start at Wells Fargo Center.

The Red Wings trailed by two goals with less than three minutes to go, but a beautiful wrister from Henrik Zetterberg and a late snipe from Niklas Kronwall forced overtime. Nearing the end of the sudden death frame, Justin Abdelkader picked the corner and won a thriller for Detroit, 4-3!

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Detroit Red Wings

Score goals - It sounds basic, but it's true. Detroit has only five players with goals this year. Scoring needs to be spread out and everyone needs to contribute.

Power play must be better - Detroit hasn't scored a power play goal in three games. Get shots, retrieve rebounds, and get second and third chances.

Try to contain Crosby and Malkin - Easy to say, hard to do. Matchups against these two will be crucial.
