Get into the Canadiens' "D" - Montreal scores a lot, but they give up a lot, too. So far, they've allowed twenty goals in six games. Attack their defensemen and make them work.
Tighten up - Use team speed to shut down Montreal's offense. Take away their time and space.Stay out of the box, and be strong on the penalty kill - Montreal has three power play goals in their first six games. Continue to be solid on the PK. Detroit is a perfect 17/17 on the PK, one of only two teams to not allow a power play goal. They must be strong again tonight.

It’s not often that Captain Henrik Zetterberg has an “off” night; however, when he does, expect him to come back with a vengeance. Last night Zetterberg didn’t disappoint - the Captain set-up every one of the Red Wings goals in a 4-1 victory over The Maple Leafs.
He's today's 'Hot Wing' by Buffalo Wild Wings!
Control the faceoff circle - Puck possession starts when faceoffs are won. It'll be a key part of pulling out a W tonight.
Get traffic in front - Detroit did well in this area last night. They need to get into these dirty areas to put the puck in the net.Convert on the power play - The Wings were 0/5 last night with the man advantage. The power play needs to come alive and do a better job tonight.
