After winning their first two games of the season, the Red Wings fell to the Boston Bruins 4-1 on Saturday. While Detroit was clearly showing fatigue playing their third game in four nights, they were quick to put it behind them and keep looking forward, with typical Red Wing-esque poise.
"We know what it's going to take," Howard said. "We've been through these [kinds of games] for years. It's early in the season, there's no reason to get down about it, beat yourself up. Put it behind you and get ready for Phoenix."
Tonight, they'll look to bounce back and improve their record to 3-1 as the Phoenix Coyotes come howling into town. After five days off, Detroit should be rested and ready to bounce back.
