Red Wings teammates Nicklas Lidstrom and Chris Osgood will make a guest appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, June 10 at 11:35 p.m. EDT.
The Stanley Cup championship duo will appear with the Stanley Cup, the oldest and most revered trophy in all professional sports.
The Red Wings captured their 11th Stanley Cup and fourth since 1997, last week when they defeated the Eastern Conference champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the best-of-seven game series.
Lidstrom, a four-time Stanley Cup winner, is the first European captain to hoist the Stanley Cup. Osgood earned his third Stanley Cup, finishing the 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs with a 14-4 record, including three shutouts.
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” is the top-rated late-night talk show.
