Smoke Detector Collection Continues this week

DETROIT -- In recognition of Fire Prevention Month, and in an effort to decrease household fires in the metro Detroit area, the Red Wings will host their annual collection of smoke detectors during home games on Wednesday, October 10 and Friday, October 12.

Fans who donate new detectors with batteries at these games will be given the chance to win Red Wings memorabilia autographed by Henrik Zetterberg. The Red Wings' star forward will match the total of all detectors collected with a personal donation.
