FSN Detroit is airing a combined 25½ hours of hockey specials and games from Sept. 29-Oct. 9 to welcome back the Red Wings and the NHL. Following are show descriptions and schedule, most of which falls during FSN's "NHL Premiere Week," Oct. 3-9:

HEY, HEY HOCKEY'S BACK: Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond take fans through the various rule changes and discuss some of the new looks to the Red Wings and the National Hockey League in this half-hour special. HEY, HEY HOCKEY'S BACK includes visits with Red Wings players Kris Draper, Brendan Shanahan, Mathieu Schneider, Robert Lang and Chris Osgood.

RED WINGS SEASON PREVIEW: Features include the return to Detroit of goaltender Chris Osgood, who has seen his career com full circle; a behind-the-scenes and wired-for-sound segment with new head coach Mike Babcock; the reconnecting of the Red Wings players with their fans; and an introduction to the 2005-06 playing roster.

RED WINGS WEEKLY: This season-opening episode includes a two-part interview with captain Steve Yzerman, conducted by John Keating. Host Trevor Thompson tells us what's new since we last saw the Red Wings.

ICE WARRIORS: This 60-minute film documentary follows Igor Larionov and the Red Wings Alumni team on a wild ride through the former Soviet Union as they competed in seven games against some of the greatest Russian players of all-time.

RED WINGS HOCKEY: FSN Detroit begins its 65-game regular-season schedule with three season-opening contests - two pitting the Red Wings against division rival St. Louis, the other against 2004 Stanley Cup finalist Calgary.
