DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings, Audi, WJBK Fox 2 and 
HOUR Detroit Magazine present the Sixth Annual Toast of Hockeytown, a wine tasting event to benefit the Family Funds of Vladimir Konstantinov and Sergei Mnatsakanov through the newly formed Detroit Red Wings Foundation, from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the exclusive Olympia Club in Joe Louis Arena.
The event offers guests the opportunity to join the Red Wings team for an elegant evening of wine tasting, fine liqueurs, a strolling buffet, great silent and live auctions and the chance to mingle with members of the current Red Wings, alumni and other celebrities in attendance. This year guests will also have the unique opportunity to tour the Red Wings locker room.
Items available in the auctions include a stick autographed by the 2005-06 Red Wings team, autographed jerseys from Joe Sakic, Sidney Crosby, Paul Kariya and Alexander Ovechkin, a basketball signed by the entire Detroit Pistons, sports memorabilia from local and national teams in addition to other great non-sports related items including spas, salons and restaurants.
A limited number of tickets are available at $250 per person and are can be ordered by calling (313) 396-7575. Guests must be 21 years of age to attend.
