DETROIT - With the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs set to begin this weekend, the Detroit Red Wings, winners of this year's Presidents' Trophy, announce their playoff campaign, BRING IT!

BRING IT! symbolizes the need for the fans, the community, and the team to all come together in order to reach the ultimate goal. The team needs the fans and community to bring their enthusiasm and their spirit and the community needs the team to bring their determination and tireless effort.

"We want to continue the tradition of creating a campaign that all our fans can participate in," stated Lori Shiels, Director of Marketing and Season Tickets for the Detroit Red Wings. "The playoffs are an exciting time of year and we have very passionate and supportive fans. Whether you attend the games, watch from your home or listen in the car, you are part of building the excitement, pride and passion that is a part of Red Wings playoff hockey."

The BRING IT! campaign is supported by print, pole signs, in-arena live show and merchandise. BRING IT! joins former campaigns:

The campaign also incorporates unique programs including the BRING IT! Red Patrol Vehicle, Café Vision, the Hockeytown Concert Series followed by Joe Vision, the Playoff Kickoff Party at the Hockeytown Café (April 20th), and the Hockeytown House Party.

BRING IT! merchandise will be available at Joe Louis Arena and Hockeytown Authentics, the official Red Wings' store, located at Big Beaver and John R in Troy.
