DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings returned to the ice today with the opening of Training Camp in preparation of the upcoming 2006-07 NHL campaign.
The five-day camp is being held at the Centre ICE Arena in Traverse City, MI., and will conclude September 20. Camp will be interrupted for the Wings' first pre-season game against the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul on Sept. 19.
