Wings continue winning way in Chicago
The Red Wings scored in each period and goalie Dominik Hasek made 28 stops as Detroit turned in a strong performance in a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.

Detroit never trailed and got goals by Henrik Zetterberg, Dan Cleary and Mikael Samuelsson at the United Center.

The Blackhawks tied the score in the second period on Jeff Hamilton's goal at 10:44. Two minutes later, the Wings took a 2-1 lead on Cleary's 11th goal of the season.

Detroit built a 3-1 lead when Samuelsson scored his eighth of the season, on the power-play, at 11:36 of the third.

Tuomo Ruutu cut Chicago's deficit to 3-2 with an even-strength tally at 13:50.

Hasek turned in another spectacular performance, stopping 28 shots, and several of them from close range.

The Wings received some bad news, when right winger Tomas Kopecky suffered a fractured collarbone, according to FSN Detroit. The injury to Kopecky occurred with 19:07 left in the third when he and Blackhawks defenseman Jim Vandermeer slid into boards.
