Frolov's second goal and 21st of the season brought the Kings to within one with 7:18 left, when he blasted a slap shot from the high slot past Hasek.
But Draper restored Detroit's two-goal lead with 2:48 remaining in the middle period, when he completed a 2-on-1, by knocking Johan Franzen's pass into the net.
Samuelsson got a power-play goal 4:27 into the third period, and Williams added his tally at 5:26. The Kings then pulled Garon in favor of Barry Brust.
Holmstrom opened the scoring 5:45 into the first period when he tipped in a touch cross-crease pass from Henrik Zetterberg. That completed a three-way passing play that began with Datsyuk's feed across the slot to Zetterberg.
