Ritola, Ryno sign entry-level deals
Ritola is a 6-foot center.
DETROIT -- Red Wings assistant general manager Jim Nill today announced the team has signed center Mattias Ritola and right wing Johan Ryno to three-year entry-level contracts.

In keeping with club policy, specific terms of the deal are not available.

Both players were selected by the Red Wings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Ritola was the Wings' fourth round pick (103rd overall) and Ryno was selected in the fifth round (137th overall).

Ryno is a 6-4 right wing.
"Mattias and Johan are two highly-skilled young players," Nill said. "They will attend our training camp this fall as a part of their continuing development towards the goal of playing for the Red Wings in the NHL."
