Kolasau signed to 2-year entry level deal

DETROIT -- Red Wings general manager Ken Holland announced today that the club has signed defenseman Siarhei Kolasau to a two-year entry level contract. In keeping with team policy, additional terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Kolasau (6’4” 187 lbs.) was drafted by the Red Wings in the fifth round (151st overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year old Belarus native spent the past two seasons with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL. He finished the 2007-08 regular season with one goal and 10 assists for 11 points in 51 games played.
