Four cut from Wings' camp roster

DETROIT -- The Red Wings trimmed four players from its 33-man training camp roster following Sunday's preseason finale against the Buffalo Sabres. Those cut were Justin Abdelkader, Cory Emmerton, Jan Mursak and Mattias Ritola.
All four players were assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins, Detroit ’s American Hockey League affiliate. With the cuts, Detroit ’s training camp roster stands at 29 players.
Justin Abdelkader, center, 6-2, 215, Muskegon, Mich.; Cory Emmerton, center, 6-0, 185, St. Thomas, Ontario; Jan Mursak, right wing, 6-0, 185, Maribor, Slovenia; Mattias Ritola, left wing, 6-0, 192, Borlange, Sweden.
