\'Classic\' architectural rendering unveiled

NEW YORK -- The National Hockey League today unveiled an architectural rendering of NHL Winter ClassicTM 2009, the much-anticipated Original Six outdoor match-up between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Red Wings at 1 p.m. ET New Year’s Day at historic Wrigley Field.

There are multiple ways for fans throughout North America to tune-in on New Year’s Day.  NBC will provide live broadcast coverage of the game in the U.S. at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT).  In Canada, CBC and RDS will televise the event live.  NHL Radio will provide coverage for radio stations across North America.  SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio will broadcast the game live nationwide on NHL Home Ice (available on XM channel 204 on SIRIUS channel 208 as part of the “Best of XM” programming package).  Locally, the game can be heard on WGN radio in Chicago and 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit.  NHL Network and will provide extensive pre- and post-game coverage.
