This is truly a special time in Hockeytown. We have one of the most successful franchises in professional sports, an 84-year history and tradition that is present at every game, an organization that, from the top down, is totally committed to continued success and a team that is coming off of back-to-back Stanley Cup finals appearances.
The Red Wings record over the last 15 years not only is the best among all NHL teams, it's also No. 1 vs. every professional team in football, baseball and basketball, all while offering season ticket prices that ranked 20th among NHL teams last season. This made the Red Wings one of the best values in North America.
At the same time, we share the impact of one of the most difficult economic times in decades. As season ticket holders, you represent the core of our loyal fan base and we want to reward you by offering you the same price for your season tickets as you received during the 2008-09 season.
In addition to the flat pricing from last season, all season ticket holders can enjoy the benefit of an extended two (2) months to pay for your tickets with the six-month payment plan. As well, the new eLayawaySPORTS plan that enables fans to customize their payments for their season tickets over time by selecting their own payment amounts and schedule. Season ticket holders also will receive considerable savings off of the gate prices, invitations to private events that include all the Wings' players and staff, the first chance to purchase 2010 playoff tickets, exclusive savings on select Red Wings Merchandise and more.
You should expect your renewal information, including your invoice, brochure, and information on the Olympia Club, eLayaway and the Relocation Event to arrive in the mail this week.
