Separated shoulder sidelines Cleary for about a month
DETROIT - Red Wings coach Mike Babcock says Dan Cleary will be out for about a month because of a separated shoulder.
Cleary was injured Wednesday night in Detroit's 1-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues.
Detroit's rebuilding season has been more difficult than expected.
The franchise could not keep some of its key players such as Marian Hossa because of the salary cap. Then, the Red Wings lost Johan Franzen, Valtteri Filppula, Jason Williams and defenceman Niklas Kronwall to injuries
