DETROIT -- The Nashville Predators, the NHL's least penalized team (9.3 penalty minutes per game) comes to Joe Louis Arena this Friday for a Western Conference clash with the Red Wings.
The Red Wings are currently three-points behind the Predators (71 points) for the No. 7 seed in the conference playoff race. Friday's game is the fourth time that the Wings and Predators will face this season.
In the three previous meetings, the Wings are 2-1-0 against Nashville, including a 3-2 overtime thriller on Dec. 12 that was capped by Todd Bertuzzi's game-winner. The Wings' rugged forward also scored an OT winner agaisnt Anaheim on Dec. 11.
