2010 playoff tickets on sale now
There’s nothing like the excitement of the playoff hockey at The Joe and once again, pricing for individual playoff tickets remain locked in at the same prices Wings' fans enjoyed during both the 2008 Stanley Cup championship run and the 2009 drive to Game 7 of the finals.
The Wings finished the regular-season with a thrilling 3-2 overtime win Sunday at Chicago, and are headed to their 19th consecutive playoff appearances, the longest in major professional sports. The Wings will battle the Phoenix Coyotes in the Western Conference quarterfinals.
Scheduled games for the Western Conference Quarterfinals at JLA:
Game 3 -- April 18 3 p.m. Phoenix at Detroit
Game 4 -- April 20 6:30 p.m. Phoenix at Detroit
*Game 6 -- April 25 2 p.m. Phoenix at Detroit
* If necessary
Fans can purchase single-game playoff tickets at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office, all TicketMaster locations including Hockeytown Café, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to DetroitRedWings.com.
BECOME A SEASON-TICKET HOLDER FOR EVEN GREATER SAVINGS!
Prior to Friday, fans still have a chance to place a small deposit on one of several 2010-11 Season Ticket Plans to take advantage of the great benefits including savings of up to 20 percent off of this year’s playoff box office prices and preferred pricing on next year’s season tickets.
Another great advantage of being a season-ticket holder is the “Pay As The Wings Play” payment plan which eliminates the need to pay for the entire playoffs up front. With this popular plan, season ticket holders will only be charged for home games that are guaranteed to be played. For example, fans will initially only be charged for the first two games of the opening round. They won’t be charged for an additional first round game until a third home game is determined necessary. This billing system will continue throughout all playoff rounds.
