DETROIT -- The last time the Red Wings and Nashville Predators hooked up, the Central Division rivals put on a whale of a classic show.
Saturday's 2 p.m. EDT matinee rematch at Joe Louis Arena promises to be equally as exciting, and with it comes a battle for playoff positioning in the Western Conference and the No. 5 seed at stake.
Last Saturday, the Wings pulled out a 1-0 decision by surviving an 11-round shootout. The Wings are 4-1-0 against the Predators this season.
Fans can purchase single-game playoff tickets at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office, all TicketMaster locations including Hockeytown Café, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, Mich., or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to DetroitRedWings.com.

Prior to Friday, fans still have a chance to place a small deposit on one of several 2010-11 Season Ticket Plans to take advantage of the great benefits including savings of up to 20 percent off of this year’s playoff box office prices and preferred pricing on next year’s season tickets.
Another great advantage of being a season-ticket holder is the “Pay As The Wings Play” payment plan which eliminates the need to pay for the entire playoffs up front. With this popular plan, season ticket holders will only be charged for home games that are guaranteed to be played. For example, fans will initially only be charged for the first two games of the opening round. They won’t be charged for an additional first round game until a third home game is determined necessary. This billing system will continue throughout all playoff rounds. Call the Red Wings Ticket Sales & Service Office at 313-396-7575 for more information.
