Brett Lebda
By The Numbers highlights  the Detroit Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2009-10 season. Each week, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on defenseman Brett Lebda.

Career game played on December 31, 2009 against the Colorado Avalanche. Lebda had a plus-1 rating in the Red Wings’ 4-2 win in their annual New Year’s Eve game at Joe Louis Arena.

Career assist recorded on March 11, 2010 against the Minnesota Wild. His milestone came on the first goal of the game when Johan Franzen scored in the first period of the Red Wings’ 5-1 win at Joe Louis Arena.

A season-high for shots on goal that he matched five times during the regular-season. Lebda hit the SOG mark at Colorado (Oct. 24); vs. Chicago (Dec. 23); at Columbus (Dec. 28); vs. Phoenix (Jan. 26); and at St. Louis (Feb. 9).

The number of points he had against Central Division opponents in 16 games. That point came in a lopsided 9-1 victory against the Blue Jackets at Columbus on November 11, 2009.

Half of Lebda’s points during 63 regular-season games helped the Red Wings break ties. Three points came while the Wings trailed, and one occurred while they were head on the scoreboard.

Season plus/minus rating in 31 games that he played in when the Red Wings won.
