Kris Draper

By The Numbers highlights  the Detroit Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2009-10 season. Each week, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on center Kris Draper.

Career game played on March 22, 2010 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He logged more than eight-minutes of ice time in the Red Wings' 3-1 win over the defending Stanley Cup champions at Joe Louis Arena.
Career post-season games played in a Red Wings' uniform, which is third all-time in franchise history behind Steve Yzerman and Nicklas Lidstrom.

Points that came against Western Conference opponents last season, including 16 which came outside of the Central Division.

The goals that he scored prior to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games in February. In fact, the seven goals was his season total for 2009-10, including his long power-play goal in a 3-1 win over the New York Rangers on Dec. 6 at Madison Square Garden.
Points posted by Draper at Joe Louis Arena, which accounted for exactly 50 percent of his offensive production for the 2009-10 season. He also enjoyed his only two-point performacnce at JLA in a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Nov. 30.
Penalty minutes compiled in 81 regular-season games. It was Draper's lowest PIM total in nine seasons when he recorded the same total in 51 games of the 1999-2000 season.
