Top of GM\'s HQ salutes Wings
DETROIT – General Motors will salute the Red Wings from the top of its Renaissance Center headquarters as the Wings play Game 1 of their playoff series against the Phoenix Coyotes.
 
The new LED sign on top of the GM World Headquarters will feature the Red Wings' winged wheel logo for 30-seconds every two minutes beginning this afternoon and on days of the other playoff home games.
 
The Wings are playing their 15th playoff series since Mike Babcock became coach in 2005-06.
