Start time for regular season finale changed
Central division rivals Detroit and Chicago will battle on April 7 live on NBC at 1 p.m.

DETROIT – The start time for the Detroit Red Wings’ 2011-12 regular season finale versus the Chicago Blackhawks has been moved up so as to accommodate NBC’s national broadcast of the proceedings. Detroit and Chicago will now square off at 1:00 p.m. EST (original puck drop – 4:00 p.m.) on Saturday, April 7 at Joe Louis Arena.
Currently 44-25-5 on the 2011-12 NHL campaign, the Red Wings will take on the Carolina Hurricanes later tonight (7:00 p.m. – FSD+ & WXYT 1270 AM) at The Joe. The first 10,000 fans in attendance for this match will receive a free poster courtesy of the Detroit Metropolitan Credit Union. Tickets to all upcoming Red Wings home games are available at the JLA Box Office (313-394-7000), all Ticketmaster (800-745-3000) outlets and online at DetroitRedWings.com.
