Wings recall Conner from Griffins

Veteran forward appeared in eight NHL games this season

DETROIT –  The Detroit Red Wings today announced that veteran forward Chris Conner has been recalled from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL). Conner appeared in eight games for Detroit during the regular season, tallying 1G-2A-3P in addition to a rating of +2. The 28-year-old native of Livonia, Mich., has also skated in 57 games for the Griffins in 2011-12, registering 16G-37A-53P-22PIM.

Tickets to the first two home games of the Red Wings’ upcoming opening round playoff series versus the Nashville Predators are currently available for purchase.
