By The Numbers will highlight the Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2011-12 season. Each week during the off-season, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on forward Todd Bertuzzi.


Scored 5 goals in 10 overtime shootout attempts during the regular-season, yielding a 50 percent scoring rate. Four of his shootout goals were game-deciding goals.


Scoring percentage for the forward during the regular-season, the fourth highest on the team.


Number of points that he registered by the end of the season. Since joining the NHL in 1995, Bertuzzi has finished 12 seasons with 35 or more points.


Scored career goal No. 300 off a wrist shot in the third period of the Feb. 4 game against Edmonton. Before the end of the night, Bertuzzi scored another regulation goal and a shootout goal.


Number of assists he had in the March 26 game against Columbus at Joe Louis Arena. He finished the game with a plus-5 rating. Henrik Zetterberg was the only other player to tally four assists during a single game this season.


Had points in five consecutive games between Dec. 8-7. His two goals and four assists helped the Wings to four wins during the five-game streak.
