By The Numbers will highlight the Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2011-12 season. Each week during the off-season, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on forward Drew Miller.


Number of points he had this season (14 goals, 11 assists), which marks his personal best and the first time that he has reached the 20-point plateau in a single season.


His .107 shooting percentage was the seventh highest on the team. He had three perfect shooting percentage games, including a two-goal performance in an 8-2 victory over Los Angeles on Dec. 17.


Number of regular-season games that he played in 2011-12, which marks his career-high for a single season. He was one of seven Detroit players to appear in 80 or more games this season.


He had a career-high 14 goals this season, four of which were game-winning goals. He has a total of 40 career goals, 34 of which he scored while playing for Detroit.


He finished the season with a plus-6 rating, the highest he has had in a single season since entering the NHL.


On two different occasions, he had three-game goal streaks, scoring a total of seven goals. During those streaks, two of his goals came against Edmonton. He scored on the Oilers each of the four times the teams met during the regular-season.
