Take a look at some of the statistical numbers that Red Wings forward Daniel Alfredsson amassed in Detroit during the 2013-14 NHL season.

Tied for first on team in scoring with 18 goals and 31 assists, though he played 11 games fewer than defenseman Niklas Kronwall, who also amassed 49 points during the 2013-14 season.

Tied for second with Johan Franzen on the Wings in game-winning goals. Alfie finished the regular season on a hit streak, producing 12 points, including three game-winning goals (vs. TOR, Mar. 18; vs. PIT, Mar. 20; vs. BUF, Apr. 4), in the final 14 games that helped Detroit solidify a playoff berth.

On Dec. 19, became the 52nd player in NHL history to reach the assist milestone. He has 713 career assists, which is third among active NHL stars with only New Jersey’s Jaromir Jagr (1,050) and San Jose’s Joe Thornton (852) leading the way.

The number of three-points games that he produced during the regular season, which resulted in five victories for the Red Wings. He had three-assists vs. PHI (Oct. 12) and at COL (Oct. 17), and his remaining triple-point nights came in the fashion of two goals and an assist at NYI (Nov. 29), vs. CGY (Dec. 19) and vs. PIT (Mar. 20).

Finished second on the team in power-play points with four goals and 14 assists. It represented the most PPP that he’s produced in a single season in the past four regular seasons. Only Kronwall (25) registered more points on the power play.

Doubled his career total for overtime goals getting game-winners vs. CGY (Dec. 19) and vs. PIT (Mar. 20). The winner against the Penguins came with one second left in overtime that gave Detroit its third win in four games as they tried to grab a playoff berth for the 23rd straight time.
