
Target Involvement: Elementary and middle school children in grades K-8.
Time Period: Wednesday, April 15 – Thursday, May 14
Contest Rules:
- Grades K-8 are encouraged to have their students build playoff beards in celebration of the 2009 Red Wings playoff run and our “The Beard is Back” campaign.
- Beards can be made out of construction paper, cotton balls, yarn or any other type of material found in a classroom.
- The school/class must submit pictures or a video of their students sporting their hand-made playoff beards and wearing their Red Wings' apparel.
- One Grand Prize winning school and two runner-ups will be chosen after May 14, 2009.
- We’re looking for the school with the most student participation, the best playoff beards and the greatest amount of Red Wings pride.
- One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a Little Caesars Pizza Party for the entire school, one framed-team signed Red Wings Winter Classic poster, a day with the Runnin’ Red Wings program and an entire set of floor hockey equipment.
- Two (2) runner-up schools will each receive a day with the Runnin’ Red Wings program and an entire set of floor hockey equipment.
