Piet Van Zant Athletic Trainer |
Van Zant is entering his 11th season as head athletic trainer and 19th with the organization. He joined the Red Wings’ staff for the 1999-2000 season after spending six years with Detroit’s AHL franchise in Glens Falls, NY. Van Zant received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Central Michigan University in 1993.
He and his wife, Missy, reside in suburban Detroit with their four children Jared, Dylan, Mikayla and McKenna.
