Ice Rentals

Youth and adult hockey teams are given the opportunity to rent the ice at Joe Louis Arena for an hourly fee. Youth teams may also participate in a smaller version of our fundraising program in order to earn an hour of ice time at "The Joe".

If you are a youth hockey team and would like to earn an hour of ice at Joe Louis Arena, you may participate in our fundraising program. By selling 200 tickets to an available College Hockey the Joe event, you will earn 1 hour of ice time. If you would like to work with another team to earn the hour of ice, each team would only have to sell 100 tickets. If you choose this option, your hour of ice would be used to play a game against the team that works with you. By selling 200 tickets, your team would also earn $600 through the fundraising portion of the program.
