Joe Louis Arena offers a variety of options to host your event year-round. We promise to make each affair special and memorable.
Joe Louis Arena: Approximately 20,000 seats
Joe Louis hosted it's first event on December 12, 1979 and has since been host to a variety of events including concerts, basketball games, ice shows, performances and countless other special events.
Arena Floor: 1,500 Strolling, 800 Seated
The arena floor can be covered for a variety of special events including balls, galas, graduation ceremonies, corporate meetings, ceremonies, product launches and more. Special flooring protects the ice surface and allows for a unique setting for your next event! All events are custom-designed with you in mind and can accommodate all the elements of creativity with convenient loading space.
CC Olympia Club: 450 Strolling, 350 Seated
With an atmosphere boasting memorable moments of the Detroit Red Wings, the CC Olympia Club serves as an excellent setting for special events. Casual and fun, the setting is perfect for holiday parties or special events. The center section can hold up to 200 for a meeting setting.
Manhattan Room: 100 Strolling, 80 Seated
Enjoy a more intimate atmosphere at Joe Louis Arena in the privacy of the Manhattan Room, located within the CC Olympia Club. With its casual setting, the Manhattan Room offers a great place for private dinners, meetings or gatherings.
Comerica Bank Legends Club: 200 Strolling, 120 Seated
Located on the Suite Level of Joe Louis Arena, the Comerica Bank Legends Club offers event space in a plush atmosphere great for entertaining with a view of the arena floor. It's our newest area of the arena renovated in 2007. The Comerica Bank Legends Club offers a great site for luncheon events and can be paired with Detroit Red Wings practice viewing.
Catering Information
Our hospitality department will work with you to design a custom menu to your specifications for your special event. All hospitality is in-house, with on site staff and Olympia services.
