Grand Rapids will partake in a southern road trip this coming weekend, visiting the Lone Star State for a trio of matches against San Antonio (Friday), Texas (Saturday) and Houston (Sunday). All three of these contests will be broadcast live on WOOD 1300 AM in western Michigan.

In ECHL action, second-year forward Andrej Nestrasil led the Toledo Walleye to a 4-2 win over the Reading Royals on Sunday. Nestrasil both netted the game-winning and insurance markers in the hard-fought road victory that improved Toledo’s record to 4-2-0, the third-best mark in the North Division.

The Walleye will visit the Wheeling Nailers on Thursday prior to returning to Toledo to face the Ft. Wayne Comets (Saturday) and Evansville IceMen (Sunday). Tickets to both of this weekend’s home games can be obtained by clicking HERE.
