Brother of Wayne OHL Second All-Star Team (1990) Played in NHL All-Star Game (1999, 2004) Traded to Hartford by Detroit with Paul Coffey and Detroit's 1st round choice (Nikos Tselios) in 1997 Entry Draft for Brendan Shanahan and Brian Glynn, October 9, 1996. Transferred to Carolina after Hartford franchise relocated, June 25, 1997. Missed majority of 1999-2000 season after failing to come to contract terms with Carolina. Traded to Philadelphia by Carolina with Carolina's 5th round choice (later traded to NY Islanders NY Islanders selected Kristofer Ottosson) in 2000 Entry Draft for Rod Brind'Amour, Jean-Marc Pelletier and Philadelphia's 2nd round choice (later traded to Colorado Colorado selected Agris Saviels) in 2000 Entry Draft, January 23, 2000. Missed majority of 2005-06 due to concussion sufferd in game at Montreal, October 25, 2005. Officially announced retirement, September 14, 2006.
