Entering his sixth NHL season and third with the Red Wings…Won a gold medal with Sweden at the 2006 Olympic Games…Has been traded three times (from San Jose to NY Rangers 6/26/01, from NY Rangers to Pittsburgh Penguins 2/10/03, from Pittsburgh to Florida Panthers 6/21/03). 

2006-07: Appeared in 58 games, missing 18 due to a broken foot and six with a shoulder injury…Recorded his 100th NHL point with an assist on 11/4 vs. Columbus…Established a career high for points (5) and assists (3) in a single game on 4/7 vs. Chicago…Appeared in all 18 of Detroit’s playoff games…Established a career high for goals (3), assists (8) and points (11) in a single post-season…Set a new career high for points in a playoff series with 0-6—6 vs. Anaheim in the WCF…Tallied a playoff career-high three assists in Game 6 of the WCF at Anaheim…Netted a career-high two goals in Detroit’s series-clinching win in Game 6 of the WCSF vs. San Jose.

2005-06:  In his first season with Detroit, set career highs in games (71), points (45), goals (23) and assists (22)…Scored his first goal as a Red Wing in his first game with the team on 10/5/05 vs. St. Louis…Tallied a career high 2-2—4 points on 11/23/05 vs. Colorado…Played his 200th NHL game on 10/29/05 at Chicago…Scored two goals twice (11/23/05 vs. Colorado, 12/31/05 vs. Columbus)…Posted two four-game goal streaks 10/5/05-10/10/05 (4 goals) and 1/30/06-2/9/06 (4 goals)…In six games following three-days rest, scored five goals to go along with two assists…Won a gold medal with Sweden at the 2006 Olympic Games…Missed nine games due to a wrist injury…Made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut…Played in all six of Detroit’s playoff games and recorded one assist with six PIM.

2004-05:  Split time between Geneve in the Swiss League and Sodertalje SK in the Swedish Elite League…In 12 games with Geneve, scored 2-4—6 points and 7-13—20 points in 29 games with Sodertalje SK.

2003-04:  Appeared in 37 games and tallied 3-6—9 points with 35 PIM in his first season with Florida…Missed 43 games (22 due to jaw injury and 21 due to a wrist injury)…Acquired by Florida from Pittsburgh along with Pittsburgh’s first and second round selections in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, in exchange for Florida’s first and third round selections in 2003.

2002-03: Split the season between NY Rangers and Pittsburgh, tallying 10-14—24 points with 40 PIM…Collected 8-14—22 points with 32 PIM in 58 games with NY Rangers and 2-0—2 points with 8 PIM in 22 games with Pittsburgh….Scored his first goal/point as a Penguin 2/15/03 at New Jersey…Made Penguins debut 2/12/03 vs. Ottawa…Traded to Pittsburgh from NY Rangers along with Joel Bouchard, Rico Fata and Richard Litner on 2/10/03, in exchange for Alexei Kovalev, Dan LaCouture, Janne Laukkanen and Mike Wilson…Played his 100th NHL game 12/5/02 at Philadelphia

2001-02: Appeared in 67 games with the NY Rangers, scoring 6-10—16 points with 23 PIM…Tied for 21s t among all NHL rookies with 16 points and tied for first with two shorthanded goals…Tallied his first two NHL goals 11/20/00 vs. Colorado (Patrick Roy)…Registered his first NHL point (assist) 11/11/00 vs. Montreal…Made his Rangers debut 11/6/00 vs. Minnesota…Traded to the NY Rangers from San Jose, along with Christian Gosselin, in exchange for Adam Graves on June 24, 2001.
