2009-10:  Appeared in a career high 50 games for Detroit…Registered career highs with three goals, three assists, six points and 35 PIM…Notched his first career regular season point 10/15 vs. LA (assist)…Scored his first career regular season goal 10/17 vs. COL…Had his first career multi-goal game 11/11 at CBJ…Finished third on Detroit with 152 hits despite appearing in just 50 games…Dressed for 11 of Detroit’s 12 postseason games in the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs…Finished with two postseason points (1-1-2) and 36 PIM…Appeared in 33 games for the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), finishing with 24 points (11-13-24), 86 PIM, one PPG, one SHG and a +6 rating…Served as an assistant captain in Grand Rapids.

2006-07: Appeared in 38 games for Michigan State….Helped MSU capture the 2007 NCAA Championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the championship game vs. Boston College with 18.9 seconds remaining – the latest a game winner has ever been scored in a NCAA title game….Named 2007 NCAA Championship Tournament MVP and 2007 Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player….Finished third on the team in scoring with 33 points and tied for third on the squad with 18 assists….Led team with 91 penalty minutes.
